Cristiano Ronaldo Surprises Greek Hotel Employees With €20k Tip
After news broke about Cristiano Ronaldo’s possible and eventual move to Juventus from Real Madrid for a reported fee of €100m (£88m) plus €12m (£11m) in additional fees, all eyes has been on him.
The Ballon D’Or winner went on an exclusive holiday in Greece for 10days with his family and friends post his country’s World Cup defeat to Uruguay in the Round of 16.
Apparently pleased by the way they were pampered at the Royal Methoni Villa where he stayed, Ronaldo and his partner Georgina Rodriguez reportedly decided to surprise 10 employees at the hotel with a whooping €20k (N8,415,348.98) tip for shielding him and his family from media paparazzi throughout their stay.
Guess Ronaldo “for once” needed privacy and these hotel staff delivered to him exactly that.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez took to Instagram to share photos of their vacation from the idyllic Greek resort.
Though unlikely that he will feature in his side’s International Champions Cup pre-season fixtures which includes games against Bayern, Benfica and Ronaldo’s former side, Real Madrid however, Ronaldo has since travelled to China as part of a promotional tour before the games.
With Cristiano Ronaldo’s arrival in Italy, media attention in Serie A will experience a massive boost.
