Kevin Hart Surprises College Students With Scholarships Worth $600,000
Kevin Hart, superstar comedian and actor, surprised 18 HBCU college students with scholarships worth $600,000 at a Negro College Fund dinner last night.
Hart collaborated with UNCF and KIPP (Knowledge is Power Program) to present the scholarships which went to outstanding students based on academic and personal accomplishments.
39-year old Hart took to his social media page to give a special shout-out to eight kids from his hometown in Philadelphia, who were among the chosen 18.
The scholarship recipients included KIPP students from 11 black colleges and universities, among which are, Spelman College, Dillard University, Fisk University, Morehouse College and Xavier University.
