In a letter addressed to the station, the NBC said the lyrics of the songs are vulgar and went on to highlight examples.
According to the letter, the line ‘This is Nigeria, look how we are living now, everybody be criminal’ in Falz’s ‘This is Nigeria’ track and Wande Coal’s ‘Girl you de make me kolo, shaking the ass like kolo’ in his ‘Iskaba’ song are considered vulgar.
