Reekado Banks splits from Mavin Records
Ladies and Gentlemen singer Reekado Banks celebrated his 25th birthday yesterday and had one of the most sensational gifts from a brother who gifted him 25 cakes one of which bore an alphabet of his the Happy Birthday Reekado Banks.
Yes, that was a lot of fun to the eye, but today the budding singer has come out on Instagram to announce that his 5 years relationship with Don Jazzy and his Mavin record is finally over.
The singer wrote on his Instagram page:
The last five years have been the most blissful years of my career. The journey has been extremely wonderful and filled with the best experience. I’ve learnt that family is not just about blood ties but about love and sacrifice and friendship that exists amongst members…. joining the @mavinrecords family was the best thing to have happened to me in the last decade….. moving on from Mavin Records onto bigger opportunities is something necessary for my growth …. I cannot wait to share with everyone what new opportunities have come… Long Live Mavin Records.
We would miss having you sing another hook on a Mavin anthem as you did on Dorobucci, but we on here wish you the best in your career.
However, Don Jazzy is yet to make any statement, but it is obvious that Reekado did not leave the label due to a fight.
