Alex Iwobi Commits Future To Arsenal, Signs New Deal
Alex iwobi has extended his contract for the next four years with the Gunners and will most likely be featuring in Arsenal’s first game against Manchester City on Sunday, August 12, 2018.
The Nigerian international has played 98 competitive games for Arsenal since signing for the first team in October 2015.
Alex Iwobi’s stay at Arsenal hasn’t been very fulfilling so far as he has mostly featured from the flanks rather than in his more preferred midfield role.
Unfortunately, he did not also enjoy a lot of playing time during the 2018 World Cup as Nigeria could not make it out of the group stage after losing to Croatia and Argentina.
With the contract extension, Alex Iwobi has just landed another opportunity to impress at Arsenal and show the Gunners new coach, Unai Emery that he can be relied upon for a match winning display game-on-game.
